Ankur Narang, PhD is a seasoned technology leader, entrepreneur, and researcher with 28 years of experience in senior R&D leadership and management positions across various multinational corporations. He has a diverse technical background spanning across multiple areas, including machine learning and AI, full-stack technology and product design and implementation, high-performance computing, 3D modeling and animation, paralleling compiler, massive scale simulations, and formal verification. He has worked across multiple verticals, including telecom, social, gaming, metaverse, edtech, oil and gas, e-commerce, media, EDA, and biotech. Dr. Narang completed his PhD in Computer Science from IIT Delhi in 2011, MS Engg Mgmt from Santa Clara University in 2000, and B.Tech in Computer Science from IIT Delhi in 1994. He has held multiple positions at international conferences and has given invited talks at numerous conferences. He has received numerous awards, including Top 100 Innovative CIO (2019), Top 50 Analytics Award (2018), Top 10 Data Scientists in India Award (2017), Technical Accomplishment award in IBM Research (2012), and IEEE Award in 1995 for best hardware design entry, on FPGA based Wormhole Router Chip. Currently, Dr. Narang is a member of the AIM Leaders Council. He has previously worked with Bytelearn as a co-founder and advisory board member, leading innovations in AI and Tech for the EdTech vertical. He has also worked with Hike as Head of AI, leading AI/ML innovations for 3D Rush Avatar and Rush Gaming Universe. Dr. Narang's education history includes a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Computer Science from Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi, a Master of Science (MS) in Engineering Management from Santa Clara University, and a B.Tech in Computer Science from Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi.
